Julia Vivar

Julia Vivar was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1957. She graduated from The Royal Academy of Fine Arts “Escuela de San Fernando”, University Complutense of Madrid, Spain in 1982.
She was awarded a three month scholarship from the San Fernando School of Fine Arts in the speciality of landscape in Ayllón, Segovia, Spain, 1882.

2007-2013 Dedicated to painting in her study, focusing more intensely on
various decorative and educational murals, as for the Farm School “El Palomar” in Chapinería, Madrid, Spain and for San Jaime School, Majadahonda, Madrid, Spain.
2014-2018 Transformation of spaces, with the aim of not only creating a decorative space, but one which would give the client a clean,
esthetic space, one which would be mentally “healthy”, personally
designed and painted for the client ́s needs. Use of a personal method, combined with appropriate natural techniques to produce HEALING-ART effect.
O THER AR TISTIC ACTIVITIES OF INTEREST
  • Drawing teacher in various High Schools of Madrid, Spain.
  • Member of the team of restorers of the Natural Institute of Restoration of
    Sculputre, Madrid, Spain.
  • Restoration of part of the Museum of Valladolid. Restoration of various
    sculptures belonging to the Heritage of the Community of Madrid, (Church of Rascafría). Restoration of of the sculpture ensemble of “Sagrada Cena” by the sculpturor Salzillo, in the Church of Jesus, Murcía, Spain.
  • 1996-1990 - Residence in India, where her study and research develops towards new horizons of creation. She designs jewels in the artisan collective “Star of India”, Jaipur and begins to paint on silk support; including design, drawing and painting.
  • Stage designer, make-up artist, actress and props and wardrobe designer, in various theatre projects all over Spain.
  • Graphic design of posters and publications for the City Hall, Madrid, Spain.
  • Painter of 25 pictures live on stage, paintings coherent with the rhythm, vitality
    and sound on stage, in the role of actress/painter in the show “Ladies and
    Gentlemen”, Madrid, Spain.
  • Art teacher, on colour through senses in the Museum of Africa in Old Havana,
    Cuba.
  • Participant in the seminar on religion in the Carribean Festival “Fiesta de
    Cuba”, Heredia Theatre, Santiago de Cuba.
  • Teacher of Creativity courses through colour, participating in various
    conferences and collaborations on radio (Radio La Ser, Madrid, Spain).
